Planning a hatrick?

The TV wonder Sushant Singh Rajput, already has two hits – “Kai Po Che” and “Shudh Desi Romance”, to his credit, and now he is eyeing his third one, which would make it a hatrick at the beginning of his career. But, which film is it going to be? Reportedly Sushant Singh Rajput has cited date problems and walked out of Abhishek Kapoor’s film “Fitoor”. Incidentally the race was on between Shekar Kapur and Abhishek Kapoor, to rope in the actor for their films “Paani” and “Fitoor” respectively. But seems like Shekar Kapur has won the race and now Sushant is all set to star in “Paani” and has walked out of “Fitoor”.

A stirring biopic

Another actor from “Kai Po Che” is making news. Rajkumar Yadav is playing the role of Shahid Azmi the Human Rights lawyer who was wrongfully arrested during the communal riots that broke out in Mumbai in 1992-1993 and was tortured too. Directed by Hansal Mehta, this film is making all the right noises and many noted actors from the Bollywood fraternity are coming forward to support it. The biopic based on Shahid Azmi will inspire many to take up education and fight the corrupt system. Both the actor and the director are sure that the audience will give the film thumbs up and the critics too will love the treatment and the style of the film. The director has also gone ahead and said that a fitting tribute to this hero would be to name a street after him.
